Apple WWDC 2022 online
The last two WWDC events were online-only and free to all due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Before 2020, Apple hosted WWDC at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, and thousands of Apple developers and employees attended, but starting in 2020, things changed. Concerns about the pandemic still exist, but Apple is gradually returning to “normalcy” and will require corporate staff to work from the office at least one day a week until mid-April.
WWDC 2022 is said to be the day we'll get a glimpse of iOS 16, iPadOS 16, watchOS 9, tvOS 16, and the next version of macOS. Some believe Apple could also unveil some new hardware. The last time it did so was at WWDC 2019, when it unveiled the third-generation Mac Pro and the Pro Display XDR. This year, Apple could potentially reveal more about its next-generation chips, shortly after the M1 Ultra.
