Apple has unveiled the iPhone SE 2022, the new iPhone that comes with an iconic design and great features, at a very affordable price. According to Apple, the design along with iOS 15 offers an amazing user experience. The phone will be available for pre-order from Friday, March 11, while availability begins in the US on Friday, March 18.

This year we’ve built the most powerful and durable iPhone SE we’ve ever made, with better battery life thanks to the A15 Bionic, the same chip used in the iPhone 13 series,” said Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing. “And with 5G, iPhone SE gives users faster uploads and downloads, higher-quality video streaming, real-time interaction in apps and more. Delivering the latest technology and high performance at this price is something only Apple can do.”

Iconic design with a 4.7-inch display
iPhone SE is both durable and beautiful, with an aluminum and glass. It features the toughest glass ever in a smartphone. It has received high ratings for its water and dust resistance. iPhone SE features the familiar Home button and Touch ID.
A15 Bionic chip
Apple's ARM-based system on a chip (SoC) delivers cutting-edge performance and capabilities in iPhone. According to the company, the chip makes almost every experience better, from launching apps to handling demanding tasks. The A15 Bionic features a powerful 6-core CPU, with two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores, making iPhone SE up to 1.8 times faster than iPhone 8. Ideal for photos, games and augmented reality experiences.

Better camera features
iPhone SE features an all-new camera system powered by A15 Bionic, delivering incredible benefits, including Smart HDR 4, Photographic Styles, Deep Fusion, and Portrait mode. Smart HDR 4 uses intelligent segmentation to apply different adjustments to color, contrast, and more to make your subject stand out against the background. Photographic Styles lets users bring their own personal photography preferences to every image, while taking advantage of Apple’s multiframe image processing. Deep Fusion uses advanced machine learning to perform pixel-by-pixel processing, optimizing the details in every part of the photo. The image signal processor in A15 Bionic delivers significantly improved video with reduced noise, and is great in low light, with better white balance.
5G is coming to the iPhone SE
5G lets users take advantage of the latest generation of wireless technology, with faster uploads and downloads, lower latency, and better experiences in more places. With iOS 15, SharePlay on 5G unlocks powerful shared experiences, like watching HDR movies or TV shows with friends while on a FaceTime call. Smart Data mode will intelligently save battery life by automatically switching iPhone to LTE when 5G speeds aren’t needed.

iOS 15
iOS 15 improves the iPhone experience with smart features and capabilities. FaceTime calls now feel more natural with spatial audio and a new Portrait mode. SharePlay lets users share experiences with friends and family while on a FaceTime call , Focus helps users reduce distractions, notifications have been redesigned, and Live Text recognizes text in a photo and lets users take action. In addition, Apple Maps offers easy ways to navigate and explore the world in 3D, while also leveraging augmented reality capabilities. The Weather app has been redesigned with full-screen maps, and Wallet adds support for home keys and IDs. Finally, privacy improvements to Siri, Mail, and more further protect users’ information.
iPhone SE and environment
Like the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13, the iPhone SE is designed to minimize its impact on the environment. Apple's new phone is made from recycled materials. The packaging eliminates external plastic wrapping, bringing Apple closer to its goal of completely removing plastic from all packaging by 2025. The iPhone SE meets Apple's high standards for energy efficiency and remains free of many harmful substances.
