Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt RED is holding a livestream today, which will likely reveal the PS5 version of Cyberpunk 2077. On Xbox Series X|S, it has been observed that the game tile is already showing as optimized for current-gen consoles.

It would be incredibly unlikely for the Polish team to not release a PS5 version or delay it in some way, so it seems likely that the updated version of Cyberpunk 2077 will be released today. What's more, the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account responded to the reports with a meme gif that you can see below.
CD Projekt RED didn't share any details about the livestream when it made the announcement, but with the PS5 version expected to launch in Q1 2022 and the game's recent reveal, all signs point to an imminent release. The game will have a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade for anyone who owns the last-gen version. We expect the livestream to detail the improvements the PS5 version brings.

Update: It's now been spotted on Xbox Series X|S that the current-gen Cyberpunk 2077 update is already up for download. It weighs in at 41.56GB on Microsoft's box. There's no sign of this on PS5, as we'll have to wait for a separate native PS5 version to hit the PS Store. However, it looks like it's happening today, and you'll get a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade if you already own the game.
