Google Photos is a very popular app that comes pre-installed on many Android smartphones and tablets. But you can also download it from the Play Store. This app also has some of the easiest and best photo editing tools.

How to edit and crop photos?
First, open the Google Photos app or install it from the Google Play Store on your Android device.
If you are opening the app for the first time, you will be asked if you want to use the “Back Up & Sync” feature. This is not necessary to use Google Photos, so you can skip this question if you want.

To start the editing process, select the photo you want. The device folders are located in the “Library” tab.
After opening the photo, tap the “Edit” button.

Suggested edits that you can make to the photo will appear . These edits are related to color adjustment, etc. To apply any of the suggested options, simply tap on it.

At the bottom there is a series of tabs with different tools. Among them is the “Crop” tab. You can adjust how much you want to crop the photo.

The next tab is “Adjust.” Here you’ll find a number of useful editing tools, which change brightness, create color contrasts, and more.

Next, you will find “Filters”, which offer many features and can greatly change photos.

Finally, there is the “More” tab, where you can find additional apps that may be available on your device that allow you to edit your photos on Android (e.g. Markup).
