The phone number of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been found in the data that leaked from 533 million Facebook users, and now a security researcher posted the phone number of Zuckerberg on Twitter, who confirmed that the Facebook CEO uses the Signal app.

“Mark Zuckerberg respects his own privacy, using a chat app that has end-to-end encryption and does not belong to Facebook. This is the number associated with his account,” security expert Dave Walker posted on Twitter, who said: “Mark Zuckerberg uses Signal.”

According to the security researcher, not only his phone number was leaked, but also other personal information such as his date of birth and Facebook user ID. Facebook co-founders Chris Hughes and Dustin Moskovitz were also among the affected users whose data was leaked due to the Facebook breach.

For those who are not aware, the personal data of more than 533 million Facebook users from 106 countries recently leaked online. This information includes phone numbers, full names, locations, birth dates, Facebook IDs, biographical details and, in some cases, email – as discovered by cybersecurity researcher Alon Gal.

However, Facebook said that the data were collected in 2019 and the company fixed this security vulnerability in August of the same year, but as it appears, hackers continue to have access to the data and publish on the internet part of the stolen data.
