COSMOTE MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATIONS S.A.informs that during an audit of its systems, an unauthorized file extraction from the company's system was detected, as a result of a cyberattack. The file in question included data, without names, of calls made or received by mobile subscribers during the five-day period from 1 to 5/9/2020, and specifically: telephone number, day and time of the call and its duration. In addition, device type, IMSI, age, gender, ARPU, base station coordinates and mobile plan of COSMOTE subscribers were displayed. This data is used by the company to optimize the network and the services provided.
The file did not contain call content (conversations) or message content, names or addresses, nor passwords or credit card data or bank account information.

No action is required from customers.
The company immediately blocked access, took all necessary measures and informed the competent Authorities from the very beginning, as required. The investigation of the incident is ongoing and so far there is no indication of any disclosure or other use of the illegally obtained file.
