Microsoft has released the non-security updates for Microsoft Office, which include improvements and fixes for issues affecting versions of Office 2016 and Office 2013.
Update KB4484439, for example, addresses a bug that leads to waiting or lagging issues in Office 2016when opening Word documents with custom XML values with lots of spaces.
KB4484326 fixes an issue affecting Skype for Business 2016 when users try to open a chat window , and an error that results in an inability to connect to Skype after sleep mode .
Microsoft also fixed a bug that causes Excel to stop responding correctly ( KB4484437 ) .
The list of non-security Office updates for July 2020
Three of the new Office updates apply to the entire Office 2016 and Office 2013 software suites, while three others address issues affecting Excel 2016, PowerPoint 2013, and Skype for Business 2016.
The July 2020 updates can be installed manually from the Microsoft Download Center, through the Microsoft Update Catalog as standalone packages , or through the service for automatic installation.
These updates apply only to Office products that are based on Microsoft Installer (.msi).
