Coronavirus has raised alarm around the world, causing panic in the majority of people. This is evidenced by the fact that people are constantly increasing in wearing surgical masks throughout their daily lives, wanting to protect themselves from the deadly virus. This results in everyone having the same face and not being easily recognizable in the crowd. On the occasion of this event, a designer and visual artist from San Francisco, Danielle Baskin, had the idea to create surgical masks on which users can print their faces. These are the personalized masks called Resting Risk Face, which are expected to be so lifelike and realistic that users their mobile phones with facial recognition. Therefore, users will not need to take off their masks and at the same time there will be no risk of catching germs.
Danielle Baskin said she considers her idea for personalized surgical masks to be extremely useful and important. However, she understands that her idea may provoke reactions and comments, as many may take it as a joke and make fun of it. However, it is worth noting that 1000 people are already waiting to buy the masks that will protect them from Coronavirus without hiding or altering their facial features.
As for the cost of these masks, it is estimated that they will be around $40, although there is no official release date. Danielle Baskin emphasizes that she does not plan to release them unless there is a global shortage of masks. She is currently testing the reliability of facial recognition on all devices.
These masks aren't the designer's only unique creation. She's also come up with other quirky products, like a battery that looks like a Pokeball and a digital "graveyard" for your favorite expired URLs 
Finally, to get the Resting Risk Face mask, someone simply needs to upload a photo of their face through a web application. Baskin's service will print the photo of their face onto the curved surface of the mask without altering their features. The interested party will then see a digital version of the Rest Risk Face, and if they approve it, they will be able to purchase it.
