Facebook has been malfunctioning for several minutes for several users.
Many people have complained that Facebook and Instagram have suddenly stopped working. On the other hand, WhatsApp, which is owned by the same company, does not seem to be affected by the bug.

A large number of people complained about the issue, according to tracking website Down Detector.
The bug appears to be a global occurrence but - fortunately - has not affected all users.
Many Facebook users said they were able to use the app but some important parts of its functionality were broken, such as sharing new posts.
Messenger aseparate app on your device, was also affected by the problems, with many users reporting that they are unable to upload files to the chat.

All three applications are considered to share much of the same underlying infrastructure, meaning that problems in one of the services can affect the functionality of the other two.
It is worth noting that this summer all three applications were out of service for an entire day, causing problems on the internet and costing the company huge sums of money.
Facebook reportedly plans to merge the three platforms so that they have a common back-end, according to a statement from Mark Zuckerberg, which likely means the apps are even more likely to influence each other.
