A judge on Thursday found Jeremy Hammond guilty of contempt of court, in addition to being part of the hacking group Anonymous. Hammond was summoned to testify before a large federal panel in Alexandria that is believed to be investigating WikiLeaks and its founder Julian Assange.

A hacker, already serving a 10-year prison sentence for hacking into the computer systems of security companies and law enforcement agencies, is serving an additional sentence for refusing to testify to a federal grand jury in Virginia investigating the WikiLeaks case.
Hammond admitted to leaking hacked data to WikiLeaks. Assange is on trial in Alexandria and the US is seeking extradition as we have reported to you many times.
The prison sentence remains in effect until Hammond agrees to testify. Former military intelligence analyst Chelsea Manningis also in prison for refusing to testify to judges investigating the WikiLeaks case.
