The thriller continues: While Microsoft has supposedly addressed most of the Windows 10 October 2018 Update's issues, the bugs continue to appear for some of the company's customers.
Apparently there is another bug, this time in Windows 10's support for FLAC files.
According to posts on Microsoft forums, after installing the Windows 10 October 2018 Update, many users found that their operating system no longer supported FLAC files.
The bug reportedly causes errors in File Explorer, which cannot read the metadata of FLAC files, in Groove Music, and in Windows Media Player.
Users will notice the error if they upgrade from the previous version Windows 10 April 2018 Update. Microsoft is aware of this issue and appears to have already addressed the error in Windows 10 19H1 preview builds.
So perhaps the fix will be released in the next Windows 10 October 2018 update.
