Can I see my Android notifications on my Windows PC?

It may have been long overdue, but the time has come for Microsoft Windows to get its own notification management system for Android devices.

With this system, it is possible to view and edit notifications from your mobile device, via your computer and Windows 10. Thus, you will be able to retrieve your entire SMS , reply to messages and compose new messages from laptop or desktop .

Windows

Then, you will see how to achieve it.

  • Open Microsoft Store and search for Your Phone.
  • If the app is not already installed, install it.
  • If the app is installed, click the menu option next to “Launch.” If “Update” appears as an option, select it.

Next, prepare your Windows computer for the connection:

  • Open the Your Phone app.
  • Click on the Android box, then click on “Get started.”.
  • Enter your phone number in the box that appears.

Now, after completing the above procedures, go to your Android.

  • Find the Your Phone Companion app in the Play Store and install it.
  • Open the app and tap “Sign in with Microsoft”.
  • Enter your Microsoft credentials. Make sure you are using the same account that appears in the “Your Phone” app on your computer.
  • Accept the various permissions requested by the app.
  • When the app asks you to set up the “Your Phone” app on computer , tap “My PC is ready.”
  • When the app asks you to allow the connection, tap “Allow”.

Windows

Now all that's left is to make sure that notifications can pass from one device to another.

  • Open your phone 's system settings , search for "Notification Access," and then select the Notification Access option.
  • Find the Your Phone Companion app in the list and enable the toggle next to it.
  • Click “Allow” in the confirmation window that appears.
  • Go back to the “Your Phone” app on your computer and click the “Notification” tab on the left side of the screen. If you don’t see this tab, close the app and then open it again.
  • Click “Get started” and then click “Open settings for me.” So, you’ve already set up settings manually.

Ready! Now you can receive your Android phone's notifications on your Windows PC, reply to them, and even search for the conversations you want.
