OTE Group won eight distinctions at this year's Business IT Excellence (BITE) Awards, for its innovative services and IT systems . The Group also won the top distinction of ICT COMPANY OF THE YEAR, which is awarded to the nominations with the highest scores in their category.

With technology, we are creating a better world for everyone," said OTE Group's Chief Commercial Officer Business Segment, Mr. Grigoris Christopoulos.
Gold awards were given to the COSMOTE IoT Data Sharing financial programs , in the category of " Platforms and Packages for Connectivity & Mobility" and the innovative information system COSMOTE In Memory Data Grid, in the category of "Introduction of a New Innovative Product". The "Electronic Health Record" project for H.D.I.KA (category of "E-Government Projects and Initiatives"), a collaboration between OTE Group, BYTE & DATAMED, also won a gold award, which was also shortlisted for a global award at the WITSA Global ICT Excellence Awards 2019.
A gold award was awarded to CosmoONE and the Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE), in the "energy" category, for the "Electronic Tendering System for Renewable Energy Sources".
The upgrade of 14 Fraport Greece airports , with modern COSMOTE IT and telecommunications solutions, won a silver award in the “Technological Infrastructure & Information Resources Management” category. The 2nd award was also awarded to OTE Group for the transition of Sfakianakis Group’s information systems to solutions Cloud (category “Cloud”), as well as for the COSMOTE Click & Site service for the creation of a corporate website (category “ICT solutions for Professionals/SMEs”).
The BITE Awards, which highlight the best practices in Information Technology and Communications of Greek businesses, are organized for the eighth year by the Netweek magazine of Boussias Communications and the ELTRUN Laboratory of Electronic Commerce & Business of the Athens University of Economics, under the auspices of SEPE. The evaluation of the nominations was carried out by a jury consisting of professionals in the field and university professors.
