It's hard to believe that Telegram has surpassed 200 million monthly active users, but the messaging app has become so popular thanks to the importance it places on privacy, but also for the timely updates it provides across all platforms.
Telegram's latest update brings a number of new features focused on group interactions, as well as some changes. First of all, the latest version of Telegram comes with all global permissions for groups. The new feature will allow admins to restrict any member, in any group, from posting specific types of content.
The update also provides unified group settings, which allow admins to make groups public and set other important permissions for admins. Telegram also now allows users to undelete conversations and clear chat history within 5 seconds on both Android and iOS platforms.
Animations have also been added when uploading and downloading media, along with a new sorting option in Contacts (by name or by most recent). Telegram 5.2 is already available for download via the App Store and Google Play Store, so if you have the app installed, you should check to update.
