Bliss OS is an open source project that allows you to run the Android OS of smartphones on your PC.
Although there are several other ways to run Android on a PC, Bliss OS is the best, as it doesn't come with emulator-spam and/or ads that can ruin your experience.
This open source project includes revised codes from the Android x86 project and Bliss OS Oreo, to make the operating system more powerful.
But the project is unofficial and considered a development ROM at this point, so those installing it should proceed with caution. Also, make sure you download the correct version of Bliss for your device to avoid any crashes and bugs.
The project also has several known bugs at this time:
- The Packages Manager tends to crash the system sometimes.
- Screenshots don't work yet
- Video playback is not working yet
- It presents issues with sound on different machines
Installing Android Pie on your computer
Follow the steps below to run Android Pie on your PC:
- Download the “.ISO” file
- Use a software like Rufus to copy it to a USB drive
- Disable any security options that are trying to be enabled, such as “Secure Boot” and “Bitlocker”
- Boot the USB drive
- Check Test Bliss OS in Live mode to make sure everything is OK
- Boot the USB drive and install the operating system.
