The files mention the name Spiritomb, so it seems likely that the version upgrade could be a reward for players for completing a special mission. Such special missions will likely be held in future events by the company, while it will offer players the opportunity to complete their quests-missions in the game much faster once or twice a year.
What is certain is that players will experience an excellent evolution of the game's movement mechanics & environment that will impress even the most demanding user, a sample of the company's future plans! Official details and announcements regarding the event will likely be made within the day or this week, so be sure to check back for more details. Until then, good luck out there!!!
Pokemon GO is available in select regions on Android and iOS devices.
