When ASUS launched the ASUS Tinker Board earlier this year, it published its own benchmarks comparing the new mini PC to one of its competitors, which upon closer inspection turned out to be the Raspberry Pi 3. To compare these benchmarks with independent testing, YouTube user Blitz City DIY ran his own tests earlier this year. You can check out the results from his tests on the ASUS Tinker Board and Raspberry Pi 3 below. There are few differences between the two mini PCs, other than their price, which currently sits at around £45 for the ASUS Tinker Board and around £30 for the Raspberry Pi 3.

The KitGuru website explains more about the differences between the ASUS Tinker Board and the Raspberry Pi 3:
The Pi 3 has 100Mbit Ethernet, while the Tinker Board has Gigabit Ethernet. However, both only offer 802.11n WiFi instead of 802.11ac, 4 x USB 2.0 ports instead of USB 3.0, an HDMI port for video, a mini-jack for audio, a 40-pin IO header, and two 15-pin serial interfaces, one for the camera (CSI) and one for the display (DSI). The Pi 3 has Bluetooth 4.1 while the Tinker Board has Bluetooth 4.0.
