Rumors of a new foldable smartphone from ZTE have been circulating for a few weeks now, and now Android Authority has shared photos of this upcoming handset.

The new device is codenamed Axon Multy and could launch as the ZTE Axon M. It features dual Full HD displays, and when folded, the device appears to function as a regular smartphone, while being less than 10mm thick. The two displays are also said to meet in the center and fold out to form a wide 6.8-inch 2,160 x 1,920 display.
The Axon M will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with 4GB of RAM. But it won't be able to stand up to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S8 or the HTC U11, which feature the more powerful and efficient Snapdragon 835. It will come with 32GB of internal storage and a 3120mAh battery.
Instead of having separate rear and front cameras, the ZTE Axon M will feature a single 20-megapixel camera that rotates in all directions. There are no reports on what version of Android the phone will launch with.
ZTE will hold a press conference in New York on October 17th and is likely to announce the Axon M there. Unfortunately, it seems that the smartphone will initially be exclusive to US customers only.
