YouTube Audio Library: By now you know that YouTube is just for watching videos. But it's also a place that has free music, if you know where to look.
Yes, it is one of the best uses of YouTube, since it allows you to download music for free and legally, to use in all kinds of projects.
The YouTube Audio Library began as a channel in 2013 with 1,000+ free music tracks.
The channel now hosts over five thousand high-quality audio tracks (at 320 Kbps) and various licensed sound effects.
You can log in to the channel with your Google ID for a better view of the collection categories via Creator Studio – Create – Audio Library.
As you browse the channel’s playlists, you’ll come across a lot of popular tracks. The “Sound Effects” tab is huge in itself. YouTube allows you to monetize these tracks through your own projects, but don’t forget to credit the artist if you see Creative Commons next to a track.
Every free media resource is a gold mine. When it doesn't come from Google itself, it's like hitting the jackpot.
You don't need to worry about usage restrictions on the files you download and you can use the music in any of your projects.
