Radio Garden is essentially Google Earth for radio. You have a globe that you can spin around and aim at any live radio station you want around the world.

You have a 3D world on your screen and you can zoom in on local stations around the world. The immediate sense of what you're listening to and where on the planet it's broadcasting from (which means it also represents the culture of the region) is amazing. A world full of dots representing live radio stations that you can tune into.
On Radio Garden , using the options on the top left of the website, you can switch between live radio stations, history, jingles, and recorded interviews. Of course, the Live streams are the most exciting, and within a few minutes you can browse everywhere from radio stations in Uganda to pop radio stations in Norway or Japan for J-pop or even India for astrological advice. It's a veritable cornucopia, with almost 10,000 stations at your disposal to tune into.
The Radio Garden website is not new. It has been online since 2016, but it is still a good application that is worth introducing to you. Those who explore it, do not expect to listen to all local radio stations from Greece, as it only broadcasts those that are live on the internet. However, it is by far the most easily manageable website for listening to world radio and without annoying ads. While writing this article, I was listening to a radio station (I was hooked, I would say) from southern Italy. The stream worked flawlessly and did not get stuck even once.
You can visit the Radio Garden website here. And you can download the corresponding Android mobile application here.
