LibreOffice 5.4: The Document Foundation has announced the release of the new LibreOffice 5.4 office suite. LibreOffice 5.4 is the new fresh stable version of the open-source and cross-platform office suite used on many Linux operating systems and beyond.
If you're wondering what's new in LibreOffice 5.4, according to the changelogs, the new version fixes many issues reported by LibreOffice 5.3.x but also adds some new features.
According to the developers, there are several improvements in 5.4 to most of the components of the office suite (Writer, Draw, Math, Calc, etc.). The new suite better supports RTF and DOCX format files and adds new features to Writer, Calc, and Impress.
