Samsung Galaxy Note 8 official Press Render

Samsung has posted a tweet containing a photo of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8. We believe the tweet was not made by mistake by the company, as it showcases a unique feature of the new phablet.

The new press render posted on Twitter purportedly showcases the Samsung Exynos 8895 processor, which is also expected to power the Note 8. The company did not provide further details, other than describing the chip as "the processor that creates infinite possibilities.".Galaxy Note 8

What else do we see in the picture:

The speaker hole at the top of the display appears to be larger than the one on the Galaxy S8 , and it's possible that Samsung has expanded it to accommodate another speaker below it. This means the Note 8 could be stereo, a significant upgrade from the Galaxy S8's mono speakers.

Performance leaks that have been circulating for the past few months suggest that the Note 8 will be a slightly larger device than the Galaxy S8, but it seems that Samsung is actually preparing several other upgrades in terms of features. The display will also grow to 6.3 inches, while the battery will be somewhere around 3,300 mAh. The Galaxy Note 8 will apparently come with a revised S Pen.

The Galaxy Note 8 will feature two cameras and the fingerprint sensor will not be integrated into the display, as initially reported, but will still be on the back of the phone, closer to the right side.

As for the release date of the device, there are reports that Samsung could release it in the second half of September, although more recent information has indicated that the device will probably be released on August 23, as Samsung wants to make its device available before the launch of the new iPhones in September (?).
