OnePlus is preparing to launch its latest flagship in June, so more and more information about it is coming to light. The latest one says that the OnePlus 5 is coming to Europe at a price of 550 euros.
The OnePlus 5 will cost 550 euros in Europe. This news has leaked from Finland as the new smartphone will be the prize of a competition for the annual music festival to be held in the country.
The contest recently posted on Facebook revealing the price of the phone as the rules require the prize price to be disclosed. So the retail value of the OnePlus 5 is €550 in most European markets and likely $617 in the US. Obviously the price will vary by country depending on local taxes.
The OnePlus 5 is more expensive than the 3T, which currently retails for €439 in Finland. The new smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's latest platform, the Snapdragon 835, paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.
It should be noted that an 8GB RAM variant was recently spotted on Amazon India and is expected to launch on June 22. The upcoming flagship will feature a dual-camera setup on the rear in a vertical position. It also comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
We are impressed by the company's statement that the OnePlus 5 will be its thinnest flagship to date.
The OnePlus 5 will be unveiled on June 20th, and the company plans to hold pop-up events in various cities around the world.
