Twitter's promise to launch 24/7 streaming seems to be taking shape as the company announces more and more deals that will make this happen.

Last week, Twitter made an announcement saying it would launch 24/7 streaming channels on its platform. It wasn't long ago that the company announced it was partnering with Bloomberg to provide 24/7 financial news.
That, however, was just the first step. It has now announced a dozen more partners in its effort to steer users towards relevant content.
Twitter announced daily and weekly programming from various publications, including BuzzFeed News, The Verge and Cheddar, as well as games from the WNBA and MLB. Live Nation will provide concerts, while fashion shows will come from IMG. MTV will cover awards ceremonies and more.
This will help Twitter grow even more, especially as live videos will be used to make some extra money through advertising. Signs are already showing that this will be Twitter's most successful venture compared to its previous campaigns.
“We couldn’t be more proud of the success we’ve achieved so quickly since launching our upcoming premium live streaming. Last quarter, we streamed over 800 hours of live premium content from leading brands across sports, esports, news and entertainment,” said COO Anthony Noto. “Adding these twelve new live deals tonight is a testament to the success of our unique Twitter experience, combining high-quality streaming video with conversation only on Twitter.”
