While we've seen plenty of leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S8, this is the first time we've seen an official press render thanks to Evan Blass. The new image only shows the front of the device, but we're sure we'll see all sides of it by the time the smartphone is announced.
You will notice the device's launch date displayed on the phone's screen, confirming that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be officially announced on March 29th.
The camera and phone icons appear on the device's lock screen. Both of these features can be used without having to unlock the phone.
The side bezels are extremely thin, and almost invisible, due to the Galaxy S8 having curved edges.
The Samsung Galaxy S8's front camera above the display will also be used by an iris scanner, a new authentication method that Samsung's flagship will offer in addition to the fingerprint reader that is not visible in the image.
Unlike Samsung's previous Galaxy S phones, the Galaxy S8 will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, placed next to the camera rather than below it.
The power button is located on the right side of the phone, while the left side features a dual volume key, and possibly, a dedicated camera key.
