Let's also look at Samsung's tablets: Galaxy Book 12 Galaxy Book 10 & Galaxy Tab S3. It seems that several manufacturers are trying to create a replacement for Microsoft's Surface Pro 4. Samsung of course tried to rise to the occasion with the presentation of the Galaxy Book 12 and the Galaxy Book 10. Both tablets run Windows 10 and come with 12-inch and 10.6-inch screens respectively.Galaxy Book

The flagship Galaxy Book 12 comes with a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160×1440. The display also supports 10-bit HDR. The high-end tablet is powered by Intel’s latest Kaby Lake i5 processors (no fan required) and can be equipped with 4GB or 8GB of RAM. For storage, there are two options: 128GB SSD, and 256GB SSD. Whichever configuration you choose, there is a microSD card slot that supports storage expansion up to 256GB.

The Galaxy Book 12 supports Wi-Fi (802.11ac) and LTE (Cat 6), and Bluetooth 4.1 LE. A 13MP camera is located on the back of the device, while a smaller 5MP one is on the front. Also on board is a 39 WHr battery that gives the user 10.5 hours of operation. The battery supports fast charging via the USB-C port.

The Galaxy Book 10, on the other hand, has a smaller TFT with a resolution of 1920×1280. It doesn't support HDR and the processor is a Kaby Lake Core m3. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and you can choose from 64GB or up to 128GB of eMMC storage that can be expanded with a microSD card slot.

Like the Galaxy Book 12, the Galaxy Book 10 is available in Wi-Fi and LTE models, but without a rear camera. There's only a 5MP front-facing camera. The Galaxy Book 10's smaller frame means the battery capacity has been reduced to 30 WHr, offering up to 10 hours of battery life.

Both Galaxy Book models come with a Pogo keyboard on the chassis that doesn't need to be charged separately or paired with the tablet to work.

The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which is complemented by 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It has a microSD card slot that supports up to 256GB.

This means you can securely and wirelessly connect to your smartphone to transfer documents and other data, or to sync across devices. In addition, all tablets come with a new, more refined S Pen that supports 4000+ levels of pressure sensitivity.

We currently do not know details about the pricing and availability of the devices.
