The Tails Project has just released the first beta of the live OS Tails 3.0, a live operating system that runs on any computer and leaves no trace on the machine or on the internet.
This particular Tails operating system was used by former NSA employee Edward Snowden to stay hidden on the internet.

What's new?
Tails 3.0 will be the first version of Tails based on Debian 9 (Stretch). This means that all applications will be upgraded to newer versions.
Other changes:
A 64-bit processor is now required

GNOME Shell has been set to use its black theme by default.
Many issues since Tails 3.0~alpha1 have been fixed.
