The company Retro-bit has been making remakes of classic consoles for many years now, and its latest is the Super Retro Boy, a remake of the Game Boy.
The Super Retro Boy console is designed to look, feel and function like Nintendo's Game Boy. Retro-bit made sure it wasn't 100% identical to the original, apparently to avoid lawsuits. That's why it added the word Super, denoting the color screen and extra buttons.
It is capable of playing Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance cards. The Super Retro Boy is expected to cost $79.99 and will be available in August 2017.
