Stories from the ramparts part 6 – No more coal!

Another series of stories from the ramparts is being added to the SecNews! So far we have witnessed stories with CD-DVD drives – coffee cases, floppy disks that save files in 2016, “gamer” managers, board members, who watch spicy movies and of course these are just the beginning!

We are also waiting for your stories, which will be posted in order of priority because we could not fit them all into one post!

This particular story is not only awesome as a story, but we were also surprised by the letter sent by the reader friend, which for the first time we will post as is without any changes by our editor!

No more coal!

I may have stopped working in the technical support department of a large company 2 years ago, something I have never regretted and I will not regret since I left with the compensation in one hand and the middle finger raised in the other, but some stories remain deeply engraved in your soul and haunt you forever. Unfortunately, the company did not compensate me for sessions with psychiatrists, an issue that I had to solve on my own by writing my stories for my fellow readers of Secnews.gr. I hope my prayers are heard and the guys at Secnews publish some of my stories!

One fine morning, a super-powered PC was sitting on my workbench, 2 years ago it had the latest features you can imagine, very powerful even today. The guy who brought it, as the guys at the reception told me, seemed a little annoyed, like any self-respecting freak, I thought. So what exactly was the problem with this miracle of technology? It just broke. It just stopped working. That's what the guy at the reception said. In fact, he said he had soundproofed it so that the fans couldn't be heard!?! Here, my friends, something started to stink... Screwdriver in hand and I open the PC... what should I see? The guy had put rock wool inside the tower! My jaw dropped! Almost everything inside had burned because the PC simply couldn't breathe. Real soundproofing in the PC as if it were Jimmy Hendrix's recording studio! My problem wasn't the poor PC, but that I lost my appreciation for the freak that was the PC. As a proper freak, he should have found it by listening to his fans!!
