All the spotlight has been on Windows 10 lately. We've all seen it, some were excited while others weren't. The only thing that's certain is that it will be with us for quite some time. So, here's an opportunity to mention five features of the new Windows that you probably didn't know about.

Cortana's secret calculator
You no longer need a calculator app to do your calculations. If you have Cortana enabled, you can easily perform basic math by pressing the Windows key and then typing the formula in the search box.
Symbols and Emojis
Using symbols and emojis is made easier. Using a touch keyboard that responds to mouse clicks, you can add fractions, weird emojis, and foreign symbols to your conversations.
Battery Saver
A permanent problem of electronic devices is the battery life limit. Windows 10, through the Battery Saver function, can extend its life. Specifically, it gives you the ability to minimize functions when the battery has reached the lower limit you have specified (e.g. 20%).
Unwanted notifications
Windows 10 has found a way to rid you of unwanted sounds and notifications that appear on your screen. In the Notifications & Actions section there is an option Show app notifications that by performing certain presets you can enjoy your computer undisturbed.
Settings
Windows 10 has some settings in the Control Panel and others in the Settings app. But how do you know where to find the setting you're looking for? Simply type the name of the setting in the search box of the Settings app or the taskbar.
