finally LastPass offering free mobile access. Its founder, Joe Siegrist, announced the app upgrade in a post on the official website.
We've all had problems with our passwords, and we'd hate to admit it. The situation became excruciating when we couldn't access our accounts from our mobile phones because the security service that generates and stores complex passwords was only free for desktop computers, not mobile devices. Specifically, it required an annual fee of 10.82 euros to gain the coveted access.
But that all changed now that LastPass is free. However, it includes fewer features, some of which are: priority customer support, password sharing, and two additional authentication options.
To install the application on your mobile phone, all you need to do is download LastPass and log in just like you would on your desktop computer. You are also given the option to log in from other devices at the same time.
The free installation of LastPass has caused great surprise and confusion among other security companies, especially now that the issue of online security and protection is at the center of the news. This is due to the frequent hacking attacks on the Democratic National Committee and various other organizations.
It should be noted that in 2016, over a million passwords were leaked to the public due to the misuse of online security services, resulting in the public losing trust in applications like LastPass. The goal of the new upgraded LastPass is to regain lost trust and eliminate the feeling of fear and insecurity of users in the face of breaches .
