What does Stephen Hawking have to do with Microsoft? Microsoft has announced that physicist Stephen Hawking will appear at its Future Decoded event taking place in the United Kingdom later this year.
The world-renowned physicist will deliver the opening keynote speech on the first day of the event, and share his thoughts on artificial intelligence and how it may impact the future of the human species.
In addition to Stephen Hawking's talk, Microsoft will also host the first developer sessions for the HoloLens mixed reality device.
Future Decoded is Microsoft's largest event in the UK, focusing on exploring how the digital revolution is shaping today's technology landscape. The conference will take place in London from 1-2 November.
