Microsoft has released another build of Windows 10 Insider Preview. The new Windows 10 build 14942 is available for Insiders enrolled in the Fast Ring. This version comes with a number of interesting new features.
Hide app list in Start: A new feature that lets you collapse the app list in the Start menu. It was a top request from Insider feedback. You can try it by going to Settings – Personalization – Start and toggling on “Hide app list in Start menu.”.
Photos app update: The latest update to the Photos app on your PC makes it much prettier and easier to navigate. Plus, the Photos app is now available for Xbox One.
The Windows Update icon has been changed, and the upgrade experience has been improved. Now if you have uninstalled any of the Microsoft applications, they will not be reinstalled during your system updates.
