Microsoft has announced the release of a new build of Windows 10 for those enrolled in the Fast Ring of the Windows Insider program.
The new Windows 10 build 14376 is available for PC and Mobile and comes with many bug fixes and performance improvements, as the company's focus is no longer on adding new features, but on perfecting the operating system before its upcoming release.
Dona Sarkar, head of the Windows Insider program, says that there are around 1,800 fixes in this latest build, which makes it obvious that we are approaching the moment when the Anniversary Update reaches its final stage.
Microsoft has addressed a number of issues reported in previous builds, including errors with networks or VPN connections in the network flyout, and fixes for the Windows Store freezing while using it.
According to Microsoft, this build contains no unresolved known issues and everything is working normally (until proven otherwise).
"We don't have any known issues on our list at this time for PC. If we notice anything, we'll update this post," Microsoft says.
