The Times: Details of 100,000 stolen credit cards from the United Kingdom, circulating freely on the internet and being sold for less than $2.50 according to a study by the newspaper The Times.
The stolen cards usually circulate on the Dark Web rather than on Bestvalid, a legitimate website that is almost as affordable as Amazon.
The website simply requires a registration to gain access. After registering and accessing the stolen cards, it also offers assistance services for dissatisfied customers.
A journalist from The Times newspaper used Bitcoin to purchase a victim's information, in a package that included all the details of a bank account, a card, as well as their mobile phone number and address.
