CWA vs NSA: The hacker who managed to hack CIA Director John Brennan's emails last October claims to have hacked the connections of National Intelligence Agency (NSA) Director James Clapper.
A teenager who goes by the nickname "Cracka" and claims to be a member of the group 'Crackas with Attitude' (CWA) told Motherboard that he has gained access to Clapper's home phone lines, internet, personal email accounts, and his wife's Yahoo email.
A spokesman for the office of the director of the National Intelligence Service (NSA) confirmed the intrusion on Tuesday.
The violations were probably not enough for Cracka, as the teenager changed the settings of Clapper's phone connections so that all his incoming calls were forwarded to Paul Larudee, co-founder of the Free Palestine Movement.
When asked why he did it, Cracka replied, “I just wanted the government people to know that people don’t agree with what they’re doing #FreePalestine.”
Today's hack should serve as a reminder that almost anyone can hack into any of your personal accounts, even if they don't have the technical skills to do so.
