The popular VLC media player has been upgraded for Windows 10, bringing a new UI, fixes, and new features.
One of the most notable changes between the old and new app is the newly updated UI. The new UI supports animations to match the visual aesthetic of Windows 10.
The updated version also includes several improvements, making the application run faster, even on low-end devices.
A mini player has also been added, allowing quick access to media.
Currently, the app doesn't offer decoding and has some audio issues. Of course, VLC continues to develop, constantly adding improvements.
The new VLC is available for download from the Windows Store.
