We already know that Samsung is planning to release an improved version of the Galaxy S6 edge. However, we don't know much about the improvements that the Galaxy S6 Plus will have.
We do know, however, that the smartphone is likely to be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Note 5 in late August or early September. SamMobile has today released some interesting specs for the upcoming smartphone. Judging by the leaked details, many Samsung fans will probably be disappointed by the South Korean company as some features are missing.

We're talking about a microSD card slot and a removable battery, which don't seem to be present on the upcoming Galaxy S6 edge Plus.
According to the aforementioned source, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus will feature the same glass back. This means it will likely lack a microSD card slot and the battery will be fixed (non-removable).
Apart from that, we also know that the smartphone will feature a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) display.
The Galaxy S6 edge Plus will not be equipped with an Exynos chipset, as Samsung seems to have opted for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with a hexa-core processor. Its battery will be 3,000 mAh.
Additionally, the device will have 32GB of storage, a 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization) and 4K video recording, as well as a 5-megapixel camera on the front.
Last but not least, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Plus is said to come with an updated TouchWiz and will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
