You may have heard that astronauts are fed green, red and yellow pellets. In the following ESA videos you will watch the preparation of chicken and rice in space!

The key to cooking in space (if it can be considered cooking) is to make sure we have all the ingredients in front of us (fixed, please) and to be fast enough so that the pie doesn't run out..
The ESA states:
ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti is currently living on the International Space Station on a long-duration Futura mission.
Food is a very important element in space, also from a psychological point of view.
That's why astronauts are allowed a certain amount of what's called "bonus food" of their choice. It's food that reminds them of home-cooked flavors.
We asked Samantha to show us how she manages to cook one of her bonus recipes in space:
Chicken with red rice and peas.
