Oppo has announced two new smartphones, the Oppo R7 and R7 Plus. The former is a 5-inch device, while the latter is a 6-inch phablet.
The Oppo R7 is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 CPU, coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
The main camera is 13MP with an f/2.2 aperture. The battery is rated at 2,320mAh.
As for the Oppo R7 Plus, it comes with a 6-inch (1080p) display as mentioned above. Its specifications are similar to those of the R7, but there are a few improvements, such as 32GB of storage.
The R7 Plus also features a more advanced camera, with laser autofocus and dual-LED flash.
The battery is quite interesting, reaching 4,100mAh. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back of the Plus.
The Oppo R7 will be priced at $400, while the Oppo R7 Plus will cost $480. Both smartphones will be available in China starting tomorrow in gold and silver. International markets will see the new Oppo devices in June, according to Androidcentral.
