Last week, authorities took control of websites Dark Net and Operation Onymous, a campaign against illegal Tor network services, received much publicity. 
But it seems one website wasn't going to last long. A previously seized secret service (Doxbin) is back online after Dark Net hackers took it over from the feds.
Doxbin is a website dedicated to hosting tens of thousands of files containing sensitive information like addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, and more.
The loss of Doxbin last week probably didn't sit well with the site's fans.
While the police took control of the premises, its owners remain free and speaking to the public.
So the hackers took it upon themselves to take Doxbin back from the feds and host the website on another server. There are already at least three new .onion addresses pointing to the website, according to the search engine ahmia.fi. In addition, the hackers created a new .onion address in order to prevent another seizure of Doxbin by the FBI.
Currently, Doxbin is accessible from the following addresses: https://npieqpvpjhrmdchg.onion/ and https://doxbinumfxfyytnh.onion, which were seized, and https://doxbinrqbk7lcslw.onion, which was added as a new address.
It should be noted that a .onion address is simply a hash of a private key used to control the domain. The domain owners simply took the private key off and thus got rid of the police. Then they created new private keys.
