Once again Sony Playstation Networkare at risk due to a blind SQL injection bug. 20-year-old Austrian Aria Akhavan discovered the problem, which allows someone to extract information from the database using SQL queries.

Although this type of bug is more difficult and time-consuming for the attacker, due to the fact that it usually returns a blank page and then has to use appropriate queries to display what he wants for each bit, there are now various tools that make the attack process easier and faster.

Aria contacted Sony about the issue, but nothing has been done from the company's side yet. As he himself says in an interview, the least damage that can be done is for the attackers to get users' personal information.

Sony Playstation Network targeted by attacks.

Sony is a constant target for hackers. Let's not forget the major attack on its network in 2011, where hackers obtained data stored on over 77 million of the company's customers.
