Short video apps are starting to become more and more popular, thanks to social networks. So we already have Vine, Snapchat and Instagram. Microsoft couldn't be left behind. Following the new trend, it today introduced its own app, for sending and receiving videos and messages. Skype Qik is here.
The app, which launched today, allows Android, iOS and Windows users to quickly share short videos with groups of friends. Unlike other video apps, Skype Qik is purely for messaging, a bit like Instagram Direct, which is for photos.
You can download Microsoft's new app from the Google Play Store, the Apple App Store , and the Windows Phone Store.
