Google continues to make changes to its algorithm, much to the dismay of webmasters. Following the recent Panda update, Google is also planning to make some changes to the Penguin.
Penguin [penguin] is the code name for Google's algorithm that attempts to lower the rankings of search engine results for sites that violate Google's guidelines, using artificial methods to increase the ranking of their pages.
On the contrary, the Google Panda algorithm seeks to better rank websites that contain primary (exclusive) content (and not reposts), while at the same time reducing the ranking of low-quality websites.
During the Search Marketing Expo East, Gary Illyes, an internet analyst and technician, said that Google could launch a new Penguin algorithm update sometime next week, Search Engine Land.
This particular update is not something that should go unnoticed, as Google has already been working for a year on a complete rewrite of the algorithm.
There may be some delays if problems arise during testing, but if things go well, the update will be released quite soon.
Google promises that the new Penguin update will make webmasters' lives a little easier, while users will enjoy it. Of course, ordinary users won't notice any major changes. Except that the company has changed everything.
