The popular video game Tetris turned 30 on June 6th, and one fan decided to celebrate the timeless game's anniversary by creating a T-shirt. The T-shirt not only features the game, but it also lets you play it.
While some games come and go, Tetris has left its mark and doesn't seem to be going away. Tetris continues to defy the incredible advances in graphics used by today's computers and manages to capture the gamer's attention with just the idea.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tetris, Luxembourgish gamer Marc Kerger decided to create a wearable version of the game. A T-shirt that plays Tetris.
Kerger used 128 LEDs, an Arduino Uno microcontroller board, 2 control buttons, as well as two Adafruit Matrix controllers.
The T-shirt game requires four rechargeable AA batteries to operate, and as you can see in the video below, Kerger can play in real time on his body.
Of course, when a level ends, the "screen" displays the level number and score.
