Facebook is once again redesigning users' Timeline , with the changes reminiscent of the old Timeline . A step back or a fulfillment of users' wishes?

Facebook 's goal was to unify its desktop environment with its smartphone and tablet apps , but that ultimately wasn't possible. That's why Facebook is redesigning Timeline, and the changes are listed below.
Facebook's new design is simpler and cleaner compared to the current one, the font for Windows users is changed to Arial and for Mac users to Helvetica, this is to make the texts look more familiar to everyone, since these are the default fonts of the systems.
The photos will be placed inside a kind of imaginary card, as is the case with smartphones, but that will be the only similarity.
Also, the menu column on the left has been simplified and has acquired new icons, while the search bar for the Search Graph will be larger and available to everyone.
The changes are expected to roll out automatically to all users in the coming weeks.
