Microsoft yesterday released a new version of the Sysinternals Suite, its suite of applications designed to help IT Administrators diagnose and troubleshoot problems with Windows applications and services.
Just like all other updates released for this suite, Sysinternals Suite 1.0 Build 29.01.2014 comes with many bug fixes, but also with a major new feature for Process Explorer.
This tool allows you to get detailed information about a specific process, including virtual memory, security settings, user permissions, and more. However, this version also has VirusTotal integration, which means it can perform online anti-virus scans automatically.
In the official release notes, Microsoft mentions that it collaborated with VirusTotal.
Sysinternals Suite 1.0 Build 29.01.2014 provides support for all versions of Windows on the market, starting with the old Windows XP and ending with the recent Windows 8.1. Both 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows are supported, so there should be no problem for an experienced user.
