Windows 8.1 Update 1 is supposed to be released in April, as we reported . Screenshots reportedly show that it has already made its appearance to select developers ahead of its upcoming release, and they reveal a little information about what to expect.
The photo was published by Win8China and shows a beta version of the upcoming update as living proof that Microsoft is preparing a major update for Windows 8.1.
The current Windows 8.1 Update 1 beta build number is 6.3.9600.16581 and as you can see, the Start menu is still missing from the screenshot, despite all the rumors that the company wants to bring this feature back with the first major Windows 8.1 update.
