Yesterday we were the first to announce the reappearance of Silk Road on the Deep Web network. Today we decided to “walk” on the dark web and meet the most famous online dealer. You guessed it, iGuRu.gr visited Silk Road. The launch of the website was announced by Dread Pirate Roberts himself (or his replacement) on Twitter.

For our visit, we needed the necessary precautions, namely, we had to download the Tor Browser Bundle , which would ensure our anonymity during our dark "walk".
Immediately after that everything was easy, we gave the address of the new online drug market and found ourselves on their website. A window forced us to register on the site before we could look at its shelves. Registration did not require an email, only a username, a password and a PIN in case someone forgets the password, since without an email there is no password reset.
Immediately upon entering, we found ourselves faced with a message signed by Dread Pirate Roberts (!).

As for security now, everything seems to be encrypted. In each user's settings there is a place to enter the public PGP key. So even if you write a message to someone else, they can check if someone has changed even a dot since the PGP key will not match. Using PGP also allows for two-factor authentication when logging into the site as you will see in the image below.
The question marks created by the reappearance of the website are many. How is it possible that after all that has been heard about the NSA and its spying activities, some people consider it safe to "open such little shops" on the internet, even if this is called the DeepWeb?.
How can there be trust when everyone knows that the FBI or other US agencies had access to the Silk Road 1 files?.
How can there be tolerance from the authorities or is there something else hidden behind it?
