Yareoid, with its built-in standalone operating system, allows users to have the files and applications they use on any computer at any time. Its operating system is based on a version of Linux that is very easy to use and familiar to many users, while it is supported on PC and Mac computers.
The process is very simple, as all you need is an available computer. The device is connected to a USB port on a closed computer and is immediately ready for use by selecting boot from yareoid.
You plug it into a USB port on any computer (regardless of whether it is a PC or Mac) and boot the computer. On a PC, press F9 or F12 (depending on the manufacturer it can be F2, F10 or F11 or even hold down ESC during boot on EEE PCs) and select boot from USB. On Mac computers you do not need to press any button during boot. It will show you a menu when the computer boots up where you will have chosen between MacOS, yareoid or Windows if they are installed on the Mac.
If you want to permanently change the option to boot from USB first on a PC, change the sequence in the computer's BIOS. This is usually done by pressing the F2 key (this changes depending on the manufacturer, during startup it displays a message about which key you should press to enter the BIOS). In the BIOS menu, in the BOOT option, change the sequence with USB as the first option.
It has a wide range of installed applications, but also a special platform for users who want to install additional applications of their own tailored to their needs. There is a shared folder available for transferring files between yareoid and any other operating system.
Yareoid is based on Linux, which means it is a very stable and virus-free operating system. In addition, specific functions are built in for additional security of your data.
Also, in the event that there is one computer available but there are many users, each person uses their "personal computer", thus ensuring the security of their files.
